12:45 am - Yesterday's dream Yesterday in a dream I saw my two "mental constructions", i.e. people I have never seen in reality, one of them is of course Jens, the second... I don't want to write his name here. And we were in a car, who was driving I don't remember (certainly not me LOL), and I had to choose, I don't remember exactly what, maybe who of them would be the first person for me to visit. And I didn't choose Jens :( It was painful for me, even in the dream, but I felt I had to. And now I understand this as two Tarot cards, The Lovers and The Chariot, sticking together. The situation of choice (The Lovers) was clear, and The Chariot - well, the car and the two persons (like these two sphinxes, or two goats like in the Arcus Arcanum deck). The real choice is not between them, I think (simply because I translate news in Russian about Jens, and his compatriot, and post them in blog), the choice is between this situation and "the other world". At least, I feel so.

03:01 am - Spells
The first thing any spell changes is you. Words have power, and as you weave a spell, you must be aware of what you are saying. “I will do something” is a very different statement from “I will try to do something.” A friend once told me his tribe teaches never to say “try”; instead, always say “I trust I can do this.” This advice is in fact very invaluable in spellworking. If there is an area in your life you’d like to improve, try this simple affirmation. First, gaze into your mirror. Light a pink votive candle, and turn off the lights in the room. Say this affirmation three times: “I trust that I am an honorable person. I trust my deities to be with me in all things. I trust I can change those things that are harmful to me. I trust that I can achieve my goals.” Do this as often as you like. ~ Paniteowl My comment. The first thing spell changes is me indeed. Maybe this is the difference between spells that do work and those that do not work. Magic changes both outer and inner, and no one can say, which is more important. I remember that feeling, when I made the thing I can name my first working spell (I wanted to meet definite person "by chance"). I had a strong feeling that I have to be in certain area of the town, and it looked a bit strange maybe when I walked there. But it took not so much time, when we met literally face to face. :) So I try to be ready to the fact, that true knowledge changes the person itself.

03:38 am - What my name means
| What Yana Means |
You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in. You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. |
What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?I can't say it's totally true. I am certainly not "type A personality", though it seems sometimes people look at me as something like that.

02:26 am - Well... A month almost without the IJ. :) I can't part from LJ at all, because first, there is the only Jens Lehmann community... :) And second, it is the place where my friends and some interesting people are posting. I don't like some other Russian blog services, I don't know why. I always try to post there from time to time, even my own Jens Lehmann community is created on Rambler, but... Something lacks there that I need.

11:58 pm - Slavic Magick :) On this page there are a lot of zagovors (not zagovorui, as is written there, maybe they meant zagovory, in plural). But I don't understand why zagovor is called runespell, not simply spell. Maybe it means that this spell is something similar to a poem - well, but Wiccan spells are poems too. And now I think, if these spells and charms would work for people from non-Slavic countries. They say, for example, that Stregheria doesn't work, if the practicing one doesn't have Italian origin or at least Italian roots. It seems, the same is with Santeria, people who practice Santeria and communicate with gods and goddesses have African roots, maybe too far away in centuries. It means that the sort of magic is connected somehow with the origin of people. But that's true when peoples live separately. And if they form the new nation, their magic tends to unite too. And so it's interesting: does Slavic magic work in US, for example? It is a bit strange to imagine leshii in the woods of Colorado, but who knows.

02:04 am - My moods I don't know whether I can post something interesting enough today. Yesterday was the 1st Jens' performance after looong pause, and this fact might make me happy, but it didn't. Some shadow of happiness, maybe. And the worst thing is, that I don't want to do things that others want from me. The end of the year means always alot of work. And I want to be without all this. Well. the wisdom of everyday life says: do this and forget about it. But I still need energy to do it.

02:08 am - Ha-ha-ha! I predicted 2:1 for Middlesboro-Arsenal game, though I didn't know who would win. And "by chance" I've re-read "Little Zaches" today, and finally understood the origin of Alu's success. Hope they will let Jens play after that Alu's "spectacular performance". * * * The more we eat, the more energy we need to digest the food. I.e., energy coming from the food is used to digest the food itself. Something like vicious circle. They say, the people who don't eat much, don't spend their energy in wain. Experiments were taken when marathon runners were given food during their race or not. And the results of runners that did without food were better. That's one of the facts I've heard today from Dr. Filippov, who studies problems of human energy.

01:47 am - So... Arsenal remains the only unbeaten team in EPL, since Liverpool lost 1:3 to Reading. And Jens still doesn't play. (But I still hope he will play tomorrow) Nadsy doesn't play either, because of consequences of her pneumonia. The two astrological "twins" are in similar situation again. *** I've just seen an ad here on the top of page. "Chicago Board Options Exchange®, Visit the Official Site & Get Info! www.CBOE.com" The thing is, I've read it first with Russian spelling, because it makes sense and means "my own", and here some web-pages use Latin letters similar to Russian ones to write their names "in Russian". Then I saw the explanation in the beginning of the ad, and it made me smile.

02:07 am - Karmic connections There are people, with some strange reaction on words. They read a psychological text, for example, and then they stumble over the word "karma", and then - they simply stop, as if they saw red light, because this word puts them on another level of thinking, where no thought exist, only beliefs or rather prejudices. They understand this text no more, and then they say something like that: "I don't believe in karma, I am Christian". Well, but the text was not about karma, this word was used as a sort of explanation... It isn't secret that there are (a lot of) people like that. But secret is, what words can transform their mind from human to machine-like one.

08:56 pm - MadRabbit posting! MadRabbit posting! I created this account besides my LJ-one, simply to have place for posts in English. There, in LJ, my posts are mostly in Russian (pollyanna101 is my LJ-name), and I don't think it is a good idea to mix languages up. I definitely need place where to express myself, though I don't think I am soooo interesting person for others. But I have nothing against new friends, here and there in LJ. :)
